The wonderful Cinque Terre is a Mediterranean storybook landscape with lush vegetation, rolling hills, and a lively atmosphere of friendly locals who always out and about. The villages are really a modern marvel, with gigantic stone architecture that is said to be on-par with the scale of China’s Great Wall.

Wherever you go, there is plenty of things to see and do, in-town, around town, and out to sea. American tourists mention these hotspots the most, when visiting the great Cinque Terre.

A Cheap Holiday in Monterosso al Mare!

If you a looking for an ideal holiday destination, Monterosso al Mare is the idyllic location. It has a sandy beach, warm locals, great food, and fantastic scenery. The small coastal town located in the Liguria region of Italy has been a popular tourist destination for both Italians and foreign tourists alike for quite some time. Monterosso al Mare is part of the famous Cinque Terre, which is composed of 5 villages along the Italian Riviera.

The landscape around here is very rugged with steep slopes. Over time people have built terrace-like houses on the slopes, which give it a unique feel. It is not accessible from outside by car, so you will need to take either a boat, train or one of the footpaths to access the splendour of Monterosso al Mare. This adds to the charm of this region, and it remains intact, almost unspoilt by the invasion of corporate development, leaving it beautiful and untouched.
